This post is a bit of a WHERE'S WALDO...or Barb, or Pat, Maureen or Ann, Adrianna or Marsha, or ...you. I know that fundraising is going on all around me. I only hear snippets because people are trying not to wear me out. But it would be support to me and support to one another if the various pockets of fundraising projects were posted here to expand the picture of what is being or could be done. Contact me or leave a message in comments and I'll give you the 'key' to the site so you can upload your idea, pictures of your event, or your own smiling face. The notion that there is a human 'family' out there who are rooting for me is as much the support I need as to pay for those @#&%@#*$ drugs. Here are a very few of the people I know of who are beavering away at fundraising.

Hi Sandra,
Greetings from your buddy at Western! I've been trying to contact some of our old friends from Saugeen Maitland days to let them know of your situation. It's been fun to find people I haven't talked to in 31 years. Trouble is with all that drinking back then some have no recall of those days but I hope it will still translate into some dollars for your Trust Fund. The amazing thing is the number of teachers that floor created-yourself, Sue Davidnson, Wendy Black and yesterday I found blonde Sue Wanamaker who is now a prof. at University of Alberta. Google her under Susan Gibson at University of Alberta to see her home page! So I suggested instead of a "real" reunion, we have a virtual reunion and send all that saved money for hotels and manicures to you instead! I also talked to Western Alumni and although the guy was very sympathetic to your cause, he felt he can't open that door to do a "personal piece" or he will get too many requests. But he now knows your blog and maybe a connection will happen that we will never know about.
Keep the faith and we are all out here in pockets of your life cheering you on.
Barb
